Biography: As a country music legend and leading Nashville vocalist, Cline was a pioneer of the genre. Her success promoted female headline performers and helped break down gender barriers in the male dominated industry.

She shot to fame in 1955 after appearing on the Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts show when she wowed audiences with her performance of "Walkin' After Midnight".

Her other hits include "Crazy", "I Fall to Pieces", and "She's Got You." Cline was the first female solo artist inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1973.
